Okay, so this was supposed to be the middle painting of a threesome that I was going to do of Cutter, Leetah and Rayek...but Cutter's was the easiest painting I have every done, and Leetah's the hardest, and Rayek's is impossible....so there is only 2 at the moment.
I keep praying that the Rayek painting will fix itself when I'm not looking, but so far he is not cooperating.
boo.
That said, I lurv me some neon green eyelashes. Every time I got frustrated with this painting I just decided to paint more eyelashes.

Well, I'm loving this one better than the Cutter one, I guess 'cause this doesn't look like a copied photo (I can't help it, I don't like that super-realism). Her eyes are awesome, breathtaking. I don't care how she does it, or if elves are born with eyeshadow, she looks gorgeous! I also like the colors you used for the gold, not so yellowish like in the comics (I always thought her clothing had yellow rims, until I read in the novel it was gold).

This is incredible and gorgeous. Everything you do is full of magic. That said...
If you don't mind a little criticism (which I assume you don't), she looks a bit like a doll. There's not much emotion in her expression. Perhaps her soul is elsewhere. Perhaps she's a little drunk on dreamberries and about to pass out. But whatever it is, it doesn't have the Fire that is Leetah there. The slightly-parted lips and half-veiled eyes, along with the angle, combine to make her look a little vapid (something I haven never thought of Leetah).
Feel free to ignore this, if you like. It in no way detracts from the beauty and skill of the piece, just the Leetah-ness.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
